You have to try it to believe it! All of the brothers at this place are so nice, extremely kind and their food is SO GOOD that this is the only place we have returned to during our 2 week holiday in Icmeler. From the very first moment, Gino (owner) the absolute Gem made me feel like family and so did the other owner and chef, but forgive me I forgot their names, but if you go you will know who the owner is and who the chef is, they are so welcoming, treat you like family and also respect your space and are always there when you need them, also today I forgot my cash in my bag and when their cash machine system was not available, Gino and the other brother who is an owner too immediately said I can give tomorrow and that I am like family. This is a place where there is love, respect and mainly LOVE in making the food!!! They always have a smile on their faces and true good men.

Went to Meryem Wednesday night and the food ,staff,service was nothing short of amazing. We had Mezze,salad starter I had Beef dish ,my wife Diane had a lamb dish . When the waiter bought our food the owner took our plates and served our food before wishing us a nice evening. The food was amazing, easily the best weve had in two weeks.

Sometimes it's really hard to pick out one restaurant on a street lined with them trying to lure you in. But we decided on Meryem largely due to its name and the very kind man who greeted us on several occasions when we previously had walked past. We had a set menu with the mixed grill and it was excellent. Also had a delicious local dessert as pictured. Good value, delicious food, and very kind and attentive service. Don't walk by this restaurant, definitely worth a visit!

Another fantastic meal had by all here tonight. We couldn't fault any of it. Good tasty food, large portions and at a good price. In all the time we have been coming to Icmeler they have never let us down. They sell alcohol here along with your meal. We prebooked earlier to guarantee a table. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. There are toilets available for customers which were clean and tidy.

If you are in icmeler and would like a more traditional turkish experience this is definitely a must go. The service is really good, and the food incredible as well is the portion size. The food was made to perfection. If you want a real turkish experience in a nice relaxed setting, this is your place. I will definitely visit the meryem again! Update: I went again, and again it was an experience out of this world. Service and food doesn't get any better than this.

Very tasty food, friendly and attentive staff, and nice calm music. Can recommend the sea bream, lamb chops, and sea food casserole - those we tried. Tastes were interesting, balanced, and meat and fish were nicely cooked.
